Pat,

I thought you would like to know about our experience with Farabloc. My wife, Mary, had breast cancer surgery about 5 years ago. She did not want chemo so she opted to have her right breast removed. The surgery went very good, but for the past 5 years she has had nothing but pain, mostly phantom pains. The doctors could give her no help at all, other than pain pills which she refused to take.

In one of my health news letters I read about Farabloc. It sounded too good to be true, but I had to try something for my poor wife. We still cannot believe how good the Farabloc is working. As soon as my wife has some pain she puts on the Farabloc and is pain free. You cannot believe how happy she is. She insisted that I write and tell you how good Farabloc is working for her.

Thank you very much. R&M.A. (California)

Mom started using Farabloc in 2004 after her amputation.  She has always had it close by her side and still does.  However she rarely uses it anymore because over time she doesn't need it. (Once a month use.) A million dollars would NOT drag it away from her. She is your most loyal, dedicated customer.

I was in an auto crash in which I was hit in the rear. The other auto drove through the back of my auto ripping the seat from my auto and his front bumper struck my head.

The doctors said my spine would get better, but they didn't have a way of treating the pain except by pain pills, which didn't work either for years.(1970 - 2001)

I got a chance to try a Farabloc head cloth, and I used it on my head for about one hour and lost 99% of my head pain . I put it on my lower back and in about 30 minutes I had very little pain left there either. I take very little pain meds after 3 weeks of use of the Farabloc.

Dear Ms. Winterton,

We are returning the blue band {Open Knee Cover}. It was too small and I actually liked the sleeve {Knee Wrap} better. The sleeve fit very well over my left knee (the one with the knee replacement) and I use it also for my other knee when it has been overused. The lseeve has helped me sleep better and there is a definite reduction in my pain.

Thanks again for your help.

Sincerely, Pat E. (Mooresville, NC)

Hi Pat,

Thank you for the articles. Farabloc has also helped my grandma, even in a severe and constantly changing Siberian climate. She is very grateful and has only had mild pain once or twice since she has been using the blanket and the limb cover for a few months.

Regards, Anastasia (New South Wales, sent to grandmother in Russia Federation)

To: Farabloc,

I want to tell everybody about how happy I am since I got my sheet of Farabloc.

I have suffered menstrual pain since I was 11 years old. The first day of my period the pain was so strong that I didn't go to school or to work. I used to vomit, had diarrhea and back pain. I have gone to many doctors here in Canada and back home. I have tried all the medications prescribed by doctors, over tbe counter, teas, hot bags, grandma's advices, anything you name it.

July last year my husband gave me a Farabloc sheet for my birthday. The best present ever!!!!!! I never thought that a peace of fabric could relieve my pain as it did. I just put it in my tummy and no any symptoms at all. My life is back to normal.

I am 34 years old and I only wish I would have gotten this before. I took it everywhere; it is my first thing in my suitcase where travel.

Thank you so much for making my period a normal day in my life! :)

Sincerely,
Silvia R.

Dear Pat,

Just a short note to tell you that I’m very pleased with my knee sleeve. I have arthritis in my left knee and the pain got so bad, especially after sitting, I was actually wondering how much longer I would be able to walk. It took approximately 2 weeks of wearing the sleeve before I started to feel a gradual reduction in pain. Now after several months the pain is almost gone. What is left is very tolerable.

I only use my sleeve during the day as it irritates my other leg in bed. I place the stretch strap above the knee-cap to keep it up. My strap broke once but it’s still usable, figure I can replace that anytime. Also you need longer Velcro (the receiver-sown flat on material). My Velcro tabs are barely hanging on because there is not enough receiver material to use. Other than that it’s a wonderful product. Thanks again!

Sincerely,
Tom T.

Dear Patsy Winterton,

I just got the following e-mail from Lois:
Ivan, I got the gloves yesterday and I am amazed. I can actually feel the circulation returning in my fingers. I am a believer! I hope in a weeks time I will be a lot better. Wearing them last night I slept through the whole night without being awakened by my hands. I thank you a million times over for telling me about this. Lois

Lois is an occupational therapist at the VA in Knoxville, Iowa. I was in to get measured for a new wheel chair and she asked me how my phantom pain was. I told her about Farabloc and sent her an e-mail when I got home, because she was having terrible pain in her hands at night. Bad enough that it kept her from sleeping. She logged in and read all she could find on the product including quite a bit on carpal tunnel. She told me that she ordered a pair of gloves and now, in case she doesn't write soon, you can see the results. I would think the VA would have use for this product with all of the losses of legs from Iraq. My day time sleeve is working fine. I wear it at night too as you have the other one to make it larger. Many many thanks. You've made 2 people in Iowa really happy.

Best wishes,
Ivan H.

Hi Pat,

I have fibromyalgia and some arthritis, and last Friday we ordered one of your Farabloc blankets. and by golly, Tuesday it was in the mail! I put it to use immediately as we stopped at the Post Office for mail immediately before starting a 4-hour drive. I put the blanket over my legs and we made the trip with no pain in my legs. And have had absolutely great results since then, using it every night while sleeping (three so far). We want another of your blankets, this time for my husbands daughter.

THANK YOU so much.

Hi, I am a 75 year old retired teacher and coach who lost my left leg, due to diabetes, in December of 1997. It was amputated just below the knee. My prosthetisist, in Des Moines, Iowa, phoned you with the measurements on a Wednesday and I had the stump sock the following Monday. It is a little tight around the knee, but works fine. I put it on when I take my leg off at night and have not had one phantom pain in two weeks (at night). I sleep like a baby. I'm about due for another socket and when that time comes he will laminate Farabloc into the socket. I have cut my pain pills in half and really think I could do away with the night ones all together, but they are a narcotic so I'm backing off according to my doctors instructions. I'm pretty active as I substitute teach and still successfully coach 9th grade football in the fall off of a scooter. Not having a phantom pain will make that much more enjoyable.

Thank you very much. You will be hearing from us.

Dear Pat - Just want to thank you for making those wonderful covers for parts of my body that used to hurt. I've had shoulder pain for about four years as the result of a fall. Your innovative adaptation of a T-shirt shoulder has all but wiped it out. I wear it during the day, with 90% mobility, and its effect carries through the night.

And I really appreciate the "mini-skirt" you made for my lower back and hip discomfort. I just wrap it around my waist and fasten the Velcro. I really does amaze me how quickly the pain goes away.

Thank you again for restoring a bit of youth to this aging body.

I was involved in a motorcycle accident in November of 2001. I lost my left leg below the knee, which was reattached several hours later. I went through about a dozen additional operations in an attempt to save my leg. I was in a tremendous amount of pain. I was in the hospital for 4 weeks when the doctors told me my leg was infected, and they would have to remove my leg, above the knee. Talk about a shock. I was devastated, because for 4 weeks I was told I was doing fine, and now they wanted to take my leg above the knee. (I still have nightmares about this part of my stay in the hospital. Needless to say they took my leg above the knee, and that was the end of that.

NOT TO BE , I have been in pain since they took my leg. When I got home after another week in the hospital, I got on line, and did some research on Phantom Pain & Residual Stump Pain. I found that the more pain you are in, and the length of time you have pain prior to amputation, will determine the intensity of the phantom pain & residual stump pain. I was in pain for just over 4 weeks. I Have been on a cocktail of pain killers, sleeping pills, and a different variety of anti depressant pills for over 4 years now. I have been miserable. I can't sleep at night because the pains are so intense, they wake me up in the middle of the night, then I can't get back to sleep. I take 20 milligram oxycontin 3 times a day. When my pain is so terrible I will chew 2 oxycontin, just to try a dull the pain. I've even tried BOTOX injections. Those worked really well, But who can afford $4,000.00 every 3 months? Not me. Now I'm back to the pain pills. I can't work, because I can't sleep. The pains are definitely worst at night when I am trying to sleep. I was going crazy, with pain. I did not think there was any help for me, and my life was slipping out of my control.

After 1 really bad night, I got on the computer and started looking for alternative ideas to help with my pain. I landed on a website that was talking about a cloth called FARABLOC. I started reading the information, and the testimonials, and I laughed out loud, thinking how could a piece of cloth work, where so many pain, and sleeping pills have failed. As I lay in bed that night trying to sleep, I couldn't help but to think about what I read about FARABLOC. I put it in my mind that I have tried everything that my doctors (I have had over a dozen doctors try and help me) have tried on me to help with the pain. So I thought, WHAT HAVE I GOT TO LOSE AT THIS POINT. Well, I got online the next day and ordered a FARABLOC stump cover. I could not wait to give this cloth the test. It took about 4 days for the cover to get to me. (I order it on a Friday, & Monday was a holiday. that's what took so long).

Well, when I opened the package, I was really disappointed because what I was holding looked like a regular piece of cloth. My heart sunk. But that night I put the cover on my stump, and I went to bed. As I lie in my bed thinking about the long night ahead of me, I noticed something strange. My pain was minimal at this time. I'm thinking to myself that this is probably my mind playing tricks on me (something like a placebo). When I woke up the next morning, (are you reading what I am writing, I woke up. I got sleep), I was still skeptical, that this material really was what helped me to sleep. Well, the next night I put the cover on again, and went to bed. Again I noticed that the pains were less than the previous night. ( maybe there is something to this FARABLOC cloth). Well, it has been 2 weeks since I started using the FARABLOC cloth. I am not completely free of pain, but the pain I have is manageable. I haven't taken any pain pills for phantom or stump pain in two weeks. I also got off the sleeping pills & the anti depressants. This cloth may or may not work for you, but my doctors have told me that my pain is severe, compared to that of other amputees. If this cloth can help me, WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE?? PAIN PAIN PAIN THATS WHAT YOU'VE GOT TO LOSE. Try this cloth. It is well worth the $125.00. Even if you don't get rid of all the pain, it should allow you to get off the pain pills. Get your life back in your control. and not the control of pain. Try FARABLOC. It comes with a money back guarantee. YOU WILL BE SURPRISED, TRY IT.

I've been using the second blanket #WBL11120 since you sent it over a week ago and it does seem to be helping more than using just the one blanket. I'm still trying to wrap a corner of the blanket around my arthritic thumb at night. I do have a problem of losing it whenever I turn over in bed though. I wanted to let you know that the second blanket seems to be helping.

Thank you.

I am a 72 year old male and have been an amputee (above the knee) for 54 years. I suffered tremendously with phantom pains due to a severe operation. I used all kinds of pain killers and rubs to no avail. Then, I discovered your wonderful God-sent Farabloc material. I ordered my first Farabloc sock last year and haven't had but one minor episode since then, and that was due to my own negligence for not getting the sock on when I took my prosthesis off for the night.

My next prosthesis will definitely have Farabloc incorporated in the socket. Thank God and Farabloc for providing this wonderful product.

Write me for more information or questions.

"Hello Pat!

First, I want to tell you that using the stump sock has taken about 90% of my pain away! I'm real happy that I'm finally getting some relief. :-)"

"What a wonderful product! Farabloc harmonizes your energies. I slept rather badly for many years but having Farabloc blankets, both underneath and above me as I lie on my bed, enables me to sleep like a log almost every night. I wear a cummerbund during the day and my lower back is so flexible and pain free."

"About three (3) years ago I was diagnosed with Periphreal Neuropathy. My feet would get ice cold, lose feeling and generally make it very hard for me to walk comfortably. My doctor said that there is really no treatment options but that a drug call Neurontin would lesson my symptoms somewhat. I was taking 10 - 12 Neurontin a day and feeling a little bit of relief.

One night my friend gave me what I affectinately call 'my miracle blankie'. I slept with this blanket around my feet that night and as soon as I woke up in the morning and stepped on my floor I could feel a difference in my feet. After two days I was off the Neurontin completely. My feet still occasionally get cold but I simply wrap them in the blanket for a few moments and they are okay again. To keep my feet feeling good I sleep with the blanket over then 2-3 nights per week. I am eternally grateful to my friend for this gift that she gave me. I can now walk around and shop for hours without needing to sit and put my feet up. They are no longer swollen after a long day on them as they used to be.

I was a skeptic. Even my Doctor asked me if I had to put aluminum foil antenna on my head to get the blanket to work. I am a believer now. Drug free. Pain free. Swelling free. And most importantly no longer freezing cold feet. This product worked a 'miracle' for me."

"My mother had knee replacement a few years ago, and was sent 2 knee sleeves to try. She wore them overnight, and the next morning awoke without pain or stiffness for the first time in years. I ordered a small piece to let friends of mine try. How can I become a distributor?"
R. N.

"Just a note to thank you for the knee pad or whatever you call it. It really has helped. The only think that bothers me is the elastic at the top hurts if I wear it too long. One day I did not put it on and I went to watch the Fair Parade. My knee got to hurting so bad that I came back home and got the knee pad. I couldn't believe how much it helped. This past winter I fell on the ice and injured my lower back. I put the blanket piece you sent, on my back and held in place. I was able to get relief both to be able to sleep and in the day time too. I do appreciate having them."

"I just ordered one of your wraps and I wanted to let you know why. I had a mastectomy three years ago. For the last two, I have been suffering from....I'll call it 'phantom itching,' I have these awful sessions of itchiness where my breast used to be. If you can imagine, it feels like being stung by about 10 bees and all the venom is reacting! A friend of my mine witnessed one of my sessions and brought me a piece of her Farabloc to try. It's been about two months and in that time, it's reduced the sessions from about 3 a week to a total of 1 a month!!!! I've now ordered my own Farabloc, hoping that a couple of my layers will eliminate all the problem. Thanks for the product."

"First and foremost, I, on behalf of my father-in-law want to thank all of you for the prompt attention you took to get the limb cover I ordered to my father-in-law. He received it on Friday and says that he hasn't felt this good in the almost 3 years, since his amputation. We are so thrilled. Thank you. We will sing your praises all over the state of Texas.

Again thank you for this wonderful Christmas present not only for him but for us all."

"First I want to tell you how thrilled we were to get the farabloc blanket. He put it over him on the bed immediately and in several hours he had a numbness feeling and was so happy to receive it. Can't thank you enough. Included please find check for --- and so happy we finally got it. In Dec. we went to a Christmas party and several women wanted to know if it works. They want to get one. Pardon the writing."
